Trade Tariffs USA and Europe – Opportunities for Ireland’s EU Presidency

The European Chamber of Ireland will welcome Professor Edgar Morgenroth, Full Professor of Economics at Dublin City University (DCU), for an address examining the changing trade relationship between the United States and Europe and the implications of international tariffs for Ireland.

The event will explore the challenges and opportunities arising from developments in global trade, with particular consideration of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and Ireland’s role as a highly open, internationally connected economy. Professor Morgenroth will provide economic insights into what evolving US–EU trade relations could mean for Irish and European businesses, investment and economic growth.
