The European Chamber of Ireland was honoured to welcome Gabriel Makhlouf, Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland, to the European Parliament Liaison Office for an address on monetary policy and the economic outlook.

The Governor shared his perspectives on the European Central Bank's monetary policy, financial stability, inflation and Ireland's economic outlook, while examining Ireland's role within the European and euro area economy. The event also brought together representatives from the diplomatic, policy, institutional and business communities to discuss key European priorities ahead of Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union later this year.
